Fabulous ,comfy bar,with a quite extensive food menu. Food is lovely and cooked to order. Very friendly and well worth a visit. Known now as Loopers bar after the owners pet dog !

Average English fare with room for improvement taken over just before lockdown owners friendly and attentive

Nice pub named after my uncle and very welcoming. I wonder if anyone remembers his brother Jose (Ze) Maria and if they have any stories from when he was last there before his mom ( my grandmother) passed away. Would love to hear from people who could pass any information. I had an elderly gentleman tell me about when they used to play around the two wells when they were still there.
