Praia da Figueira

Beautiful beach specially during low tide. One can walk across several small beaches. Just time it right so you don't get caught during the high tide. Clothing is optional. No life guard on duty.

Tis a great little place.. Not for the prudish though.. One side for most people, the other for the naturalist.. Was still a great place to visit

Really nice beach. You can find shelter against winds under the cliffs. However, be aware of falling stones. The water is quite shallow even several meters far from shore so that it is suitable for kids and non swimmers. The parking place is about 1km from the beach. From there you have to walk on the dusty path. Bring some small change as there might be grapes to buy at one of the nearby vineyards.

A hidden beach as it is quite a walk from the car park to the beautiful sandy beach. It is over a fairly rough trail, which is quite rocky. A great expanse of sea awaits and is stunning. High cliffs around make it secluded. There are remains of an old fort on top of one cliff side. As I visited in January I have no idea about summer tourists but I'd imagine it to be relatively quiet.
