This is a large dirt/sandy carpark overlooking the sea on more or less a cliff. There are NO dedicated parking spaces for motorhomes. All of the parking spaces are car size marked out by wooden planks and are level. It may get a little mucky in wet weather. We came here through Zambujeira do Mar. There are some narrow streets in the town but ok for a motorhome. There is a very steep hill down to Beach Zambujeira do Mar and a very steep hill up to the carpark. The entrance is to one side of a steel pillar. On the way out we decided to take the beach road on the right towards Sagres but it's actually a bouncy dirt road and after 2km we turned back as we didn't know how long it went on for and it was very slow going. There are no services here. There are small bins in the carpark. The sanitary block at the bottom of the carpark was closed when we were there in late October. We spent 2 quite nights here with a couple of other motorhomes. There were a few local people who parked here in the evening to go fishing or just go for a walk. The sunset both evenings were stunning, so take care to park the correct way or even better go to the cliff or the beach and watch the sun go down. We went for a 4 hours clifftop hike following the blue/green markers (rota vicentina) south. It was surprisingly a sandy path. The is a choice of 2 beaches. Praia dos Alteirinhos is probably the nicer especially if watching the sunset. You have to climb down steep wooden steps. There was a nice surprise of a small waterfall on the left of the stairs. We did not go for a swim only a paddle but it was shallow enough for a dip. Surprisingly the signal on the phone was very good. Pros: Free parking. Close to the beach. Very quiet. Stunning sunsets. Cons: None. Bugs/Mosquitoes. (They love us..) We did not encounter any mosquitoes here in late October.

What does Joao mean that the motorhomes leave dirty and those who go by car do not or walk or by bicycle, possibly it will be a matter of personal education to leave garbage you have received Joao

Finally a good parking lot with overnight accommodation for campers. Showers and toilets very well maintained.
