Very friendly little bar which does great value and tasty sandwiches, as well as larger meals. The tables on the square belong to the bar, which is not immediately obvious as it is hidden away to one side. Food and drink is cheap (€3.50 sandwiches and €1.30 for beer or wine) but the quality is far in excess of the low price. Bar owners speak good English and are happy to modify food to meet needs.

The cheapest bar in the middle of the center Funchal. Wine €1,20,- Beer €1,- Has a nice terrace but it closes at 00.00
