Pastelaria Café Sesamo

Lovely bakery just off main street. Popular with locals, always a good sign. Great selection of coffee, bread and tasty cakes. When buying a slice of cake you pay by the weight. The server will ask you how big a slice you want.

An excellent location in the heart of Funchal. Variety of cakes and bread. A good spot for a quick snack (sandwiches).

Although the pastries have a different name than where I come from, we managed to understand each other and we had a very nice breakfast and coffee. As a suggestion, the tea should be served in bigger cups, as the one I got felt it was made for coffee products.

Delicious cakes and pastries, the coffee was good as well- not too expensive, probably because it's a bit off site
