Absolutely delicious! I ordered the s"teak on the hot stone" and can't rave about it enough. The meat was more tender than any Fillet Mignon in the States. My husband had the boar with chestnuts which was also very good. We attempted to go again the following night to both enjoy the steak however they were booked full. Dine early or make a reservation because it's one of the Best meals in Portugal!

Food was traditional and very good. I had the wild boar and was uncommon. Long list of very expensive wines, we went for an half bottle. A place to return.

We asked for “javali com castanhas” and it was great. A cozy place to have lunch or dinner.

Authentic food from the region of Alentejo, with a very cozy environment and a good service. I would definitely recommend to try the wild boar stew with roasted chestnuts and the amazing red wines from the region. For desserts go for the trio of traditional desserts, and share it among 4 pax! Great evening!

First night in Portugal... can’t imagine we will have a better night out over the next week... food was great, service was outstanding - pricing very reasonable - 4 adults Ordered apps, main and two bottles of wine for about $56...
