We love it here. We've been coming here for 14 years, and always enjoy it. The food is solidly good, well prepared and well seasoned, a great range of pastas, pizzas, seafood and meats. Decent wine list. It's a gorgeous location by the river and there's a substantial outside seating area. A nice place for a romantic couples meal, but also fine for families. We started out as the former and have ended up as the latter.... And have always been welcomed. If you're in Coimbra for a visit, I'd recommend it. Tonight we paid about €55 for a family of five, starter and mains, wine, no desert.

Honest meals for an honest price. My husband and I looked for places to eat near the hotel that wouldn't cost us a fortune as it was just a one day trip. Google suggested ITALIA and I confess we chose it for the price (and, of course, the menu). It was better than we expected. We had different meals but they were both well done and satisfying. The waiter helped me to choose a glass of wine that matched my plate and it was a good choice. I didn't get a dessert because for me pasta + wine was enough. The staff is lovely, the view is amazing (you feel like floating in the river), the place is good and the food is honest. I recommend it for the whole experience.

Super nice little pizzaria by the Mondego river. Excellent and cozy service, good prices and a good atmosphere. Perfect for a date or a relaxed night out. They excel in pizzas and Italian specialities, with most of the staff being natural from Italy. Would recommend the salmon pizza anytime!
