A place with a nice view, but as of their service... I had some sand in the salad which crunched in the teeth, and when I told the waiter about that, it was like... ah, ok.

Great for ambience. Expensive for Portugal. Small portions

Too bad I can't give it a negative rating. The worst of the restaurants I've been to. Group of 7 people including 2 children. We arrived long before 14h. At 2 pm they made the request after much insistence from us. At 2:40 pm, no drinks, no cutlery, nothing. The employees looked like dizzy cockroaches. All the tables complained. And the officials argued among themselves. Orders left the kitchen and were returned. At 2:45 pm I went to the manager and surprise surprises respond - there can be nothing on the tables because there are no orders in the kitchen !! And no apologies ... I lack a lot of humility, professionalism, organization and above all lack respect for the customer. I do not recommend.

Good coffee and food. The staff is so nice and do great job. If you looking for brilliant atmosphere and some local advice this is a place.

I have been several times at this place and it was always good, nice stuff, decent food. However, today, the waitress cheated. She charged for our scrambled eggs with veggies the price for a omelet with shrimps and explained at length, that this would be the same price, and that she is not charging the toast (which normally comes at free). A discussion was useless, because she refused to redo the bill and kept on going that she is not charging for the toast. We ended up paying 21 Euros for two scrambled eggs and two coffee. Very disappointed! Nadja P. S. for the Café's response: I live here, know the prices and can tell when someone is cheating. This is why l posted this review to warn especially tourists. When I was there alone, or with Portuguese friends, everything was okay. But this time, I was there with a friend visiting and the owner made a big point talking English to us.
