Well, I arrive to rent a house in Caparica for some years meanwhile we look relaxed for a new house to buy in Lisbon or Caparica area, so I don't want to spend so much In a place to stay between my bussines travels, that I wont use so much anyways. I'm a real state investor. I had a date to check out a house that is big as my closet but enough for to be meanwhile near to the beach. I want to pay all year in advance as I'm not a normal salary worker, and I don't want to sound arrogantly, but just my income is enough to buy 4 o 5 times his house in a year . What a surprise, that the owner prefer a Portuguese normal salary worker that pay mounth by mount to a Spanish that can pay a year in advance and can make even a bank warranty, that I consider better than a simple warrantor. So I don't recommend as a European investor to go to live Caparica, for less not in this "real state" office. In places like Lisbon,( Chiado, Barrio alto), Estoril or Cascais área you will be welcome and appreciated,, but forget about Caparica, you won't be the preferred over a local person. I loose some hours on that place for nothing. The preference was there for started. Don't waist your time if you are a foreigner even if you are European, go directly to other areas where you will find landlords and real state with open mind to the world. Don't waist your time here, they will date you for nothing, I consider as a landlord too, very unprofessional to date people in that way, always is better to make a selection and interview by phone before dating the possible tennant, not to make full of the people.
