Awful attention. The shop assistant “Sonia Contento” was speaking in Portuguese and when she noticed I didn’t understand her; she wasn’t able to tell me she can speak more languages. I asked her in English if she could be more polite and she told me she was only speaking Portuguese because she was in Portugal. She literally said: “I can speak English and French but not Spanish, so as I am in Portugal, I’ll only speak in Portuguese”. In a polite and kind way I explained her that I can also speak more languages and that she could be more polite to her clients, but she kept on being unpleasant in every moment. I hope this complaint reaches her superiors because it is not acceptable to have this kind of people doing client-facing work. Obviously, I left without refuel.
