Quick service but not very polite staff

Good service, way better than Lisbon

The first thing you notice about this place is how easy it is to take care of civil matters. Portuguese ID cards, drivers licenses, tax matters, .etc. You will notice the courtesy of the staff. It amazes me to this day since for years things in Portugal were done in a slow and old-fashioned way (and a lot still is done that way). Get there just before it opens to get your line ticket.

Enormous queues, complete disorganization.

Good public service. Good collaborators that try to solve all the issues quickly.
