Café do Parque

Loved it, we only had a snack and some drinks after getting off the cable car. The places around the cable car are expensive and if you walk up to the church and down to the open square on the right hand side you will find a magical place and here is the cafe. It is right next to spring water fountain and to be honest could of sat and drank coffee all day long. Next to this is a public garden which is just as good as the expensive pay to view ones. Just lovely

Enjoyable. Old guy is a right character, a good laugh Been here 3 years on the trot and it's never changed. Great toasted sandwiches but there is always something off on the menu, this year it's no chicken.. cracking! Edit 2018, today no soup except tomato. 😊 Gorgeous fruit & honey cake, very light. Update for 2020. Closed July 2019. A great shame.

A bit doddery but adequate - best for a leisurely drink

Amazing cake, friendly staff and yummy coffee. Location is perfect before going to the botanical gardens, and shady under old big trees !
