Arrived here from London with no clear instructions as what to do, upon asking one of the people in the queue we had to get a ticket. I was a good 25 numbers away from my turn. The security guard with really short hair has an attitude problem and is racist, if you don’t like your job in customer facing role pal go find another job. The lady at the counter was nice once it was my turn. The consulate in London is much better even though it’s a slow process getting the appointment but they know how to speak with people with respect. Oh and it took 2 hours from the point of getting my ticket to be seen and this place is near Burger King in terminal 1 departure.

Mr. André was very helpful with my urgent second passport request. He even notified me to let me know that it had been approved and when it would be ready. Very long waiting times but Mr. André makes sure to get you what you need!

Arrived at 11 in the morning (note that opening hours is between 9am and 7pm), just to be told by security officer that to get tickets to join the queue I should have arrived between 5 and 6 am. Lovely experience and like most public services in Portugal would be better if closed.

Just like other public service in Portugal. Worse than many countries from the third world. Too long waiting, slow employees, no clear information and phone does not work. Of course, I got out without any solution. Better closed than working.

Arrived at Lisbon airport at 12.30pm. Took a while to find the office. Managed to get tickets for the queue, for my 2 kids and myself from the guard at 14.00. We were served at about 17.15 by a very friendly gentleman who assisted us as much as we needed. Each passport application took about 15mins. We paid for express service and collected from the same office, the next day at 5.00pm. All that's needed is patience. The staff are friendly and efficient and do not receive enough credit for the job they do.
