I myself could not, because I would have to buy additional tools for engine repair (+ time) Taught by the bitter experience of ara-services, I had to spend time to select a couple of "less." I began to think how to choose in the end? After all, a car service is committed to returning to it as often as possible (and I would like it not to be at the expense of the quality of the work done). The approach was simple - a good car service has nothing to hide, which means they will allow photo and video shooting and personal presence at any time. Amazingly, everyone managed to weed out everything except this. Here they were not immediately opposed to all this. I’m not a gift to the client: I prompted, demanded that they would do exactly the way I want (they installed piston rings according to the instructions from the book). The master’s nerves withstood everything. As a result, everything was collected, launched! However, oil began to ooze from the contact of the sump and box. Sinned for poor sizing with sealant. He arrived, they took everything off for free, and re-glued it, although it turned out that the sealant had nothing to do with it - the bolts of the crankshaft oil seal were unscrewed. Then I changed the clutch here. All with a bang! I painted everything in detail because when I chose among the car services, I was also guided by the reviews, but for the words “everything is fine” - it is not clear what exactly they did “perfectly”? Antifreeze changed or engine sorted. So, from the moment of replacing the piston rings already (approximately) 10 months or 30 000 km have passed. No oil consumption. Generally! Now I can confidently thank you all! But there is a small one, but when I changed the CV joint in November, the manager said that we would remove the old CV joint with a special puller. In fact, it turned out that they were sawed off by a grinder. My negative is that they said one thing, in fact, another. If you grind it with a grinder, then one slightest unnecessary movement and the master is already "sawing" the drive. It would be ideal if he first warned me that the puller would not work (although he did not even try), and then he would take up the grinder. In general, such a car service here - deserves my trust.
