Chaplitz Address: Russia, Chelyabinsk region, Chelyabinsk, st. Red, 38 Coordinates: 55.159029, 61.392909 Directions: Directions by any transport to the stop. "Scarlet Field" or to the stop. "Public library" The new building of the real school in Chelyabinsk was built in 1904-07 according to the project of the Ufa architect V.N. Chaplitsa, the contractor was the mayor of A.F. Bavel. On the third floor of the real school was the Alekseevskaya church, consecrated on March 30, 1908. Throughout the life of the church, the priest in it was Konstantin (Prokopyev), a teacher of the Law of God. The church was named Alekseevskaya by the name of the son of Emperor Nicholas II Alexei. Teachers and students turned to Tsarevich Alexei with a corresponding petition, and on it the children’s hand wrote to the Tsarevich “Permit”. True, the reliability of the latter is in question, since even at the time of the consecration of the church, the heir to the throne was not even 4 years old. After the revolution in 1919, the church was closed. The school itself operated until 1920, after which it was reorganized into a school, and then into a pedagogical school. In the 1930s, the building was transferred to the Chelyabinsk Institute of Mechanization and Electrification of Agriculture (now the South Ural State Agrarian University). For a long time, the assembly hall was located in the church’s premises, now it is used as a classroom.
