Chasovnya Svyatoy Velikomuchenitsy Yekateriny

Small church constructed on the same place of first church in Ekaterinburg. Interesting history... the church was destructed in 1930s.. the building you see is a new one built in 1998. In the photos you can see the link to history of it. Entrance is free. It is just a small room for a prayer. Redline will pass by it. Benches and fountain is on it’s square.

This small Saint Catherine chapel was built in 1998 to commemorate the 275th anniversary of the City. Previously two churches were on this site but both didn't survive to this day. Some earth from the burial place of Tatishchev, one of the city's founders is said to be kept inside this chapel.

Very beautiful, you can go once

Once I went to this chapel with children. I don't know why - I just wanted to. I don't actually go to church. And they sang there. It's so beautiful! The chapel is small, but I liked it very much.

A cozy little chapel next to which it is pleasant to relax in warm weather. The chapel is in the park, next to the fountain. Especially this place is beautiful in late spring, in summer and warm in autumn. At this time the fountain always works and the flower beds are filled with flowers.
