The House of God, where true believers gather who glorify Jesus Christ and try to live according to His will.

On Zvezdova 1 Street, in the middle of the slope, stands the most unusual temple of Omsk - the Baptist prayer house. It was built in 1907 at the expense of businessman G.I. Mazaev, a Baptist. Place under construction was given in Ilyinsky suburb. The crisis in relations with the state fell on the First World War: the followers of Orthodox Christian denominations were suspected of sympathy and affection for Kaiser Germany. In 1916, the Baptist community was closed. In the 30s the Prayer House in Omsk came under the massive closure of religious institutions. The property and religious literature of the community were confiscated. The building was placed police department. In the years of perestroika, the House of Prayer was returned to the community. The building was restored and inaugurated in 1992. The building was put under the state protection as a monument of architecture.
