Everything is dark brown from rust, gloomy, huge, and it seems that now a ghost will appear from there ... And this is in clear, sunny weather, and in cloudy weather it’s just scary, probably. Better to watch with a guided tour.

The ruins, of course - but a mixture of epochs, beautiful buildings of the Demidov era with modern, extremely functional outbuildings - only add color. An absolutely amazing guide story - even with some subtleties of metallurgy. Unfortunately, the transformation of the plant into a full-fledged museum complex (with the restoration of individual workshops and the organization of social and entertainment zones) - the only museum-plant in Russia has no funds, and this masterpiece of industrial culture is destroyed and rust ...

cool. Metallurgical plant open-air museum. Not much to invest there. Ennoble the territory and it was generally cool. Need an investor and you can make a pearl

I have long wanted to get on an excursion to the museum-plant named after Kubyisheva ... And now it happened ... The entrance to the plant through the checkpoint and the "green bridge", but it used to be painted with malachite paint, now it's just black ... and already from it the view opens up an interesting ... the dam is visible, the river is running, fishermen are sitting ... you can't see it from the road passing by ... Admission costs 60 rubles, children from 25 ... Getting to the plant you see that this is a huge territory ... through which the streets passed ... Now nature is taking over ... The rails smoothly go into the grass ... Through the broken windows you can see the trees inside the premises ... The grass and fern absorb everything possible ... The Demidov iron-smelting and iron-making plant was built on the banks of the Tagil pond in 1725, later the plant expanded the territory and became a plant named after A. Kubyisheva. The plant was closed in 1989. There are still huge gears, parts, pipes and structures here. Blast furnaces, cast-iron baths, a trough for cast-iron, remnants of metal, thick walls ... And what beautiful buildings themselves, window openings ... Lilac bushes, bird cherry, apple ... A monument to Lenin even stands on the square closer to the entrance ... Great place to spend a weekend !!! The excursion lasted 1 hour. 30 min. Time flew by quickly. Children are also interested, but hold their hand, this place is not for games !!!
