This review is about the intensive care unit of a cardiological clinic. More precisely, the attitude of the medical staff towards the sick. Our 72-year-old grandmother was admitted to the intensive care unit with chronic heart failure, severe shortness of breath. Such cardiological patients are complex patients requiring careful attention and special treatment. Perhaps the resuscitation medical staff are professionals in their field, but their human attitude to patients leaves much to be desired. We are faced with complete indifference, indifference, rudeness and rudeness. Grandma was brought in the evening. The next day, she asked her phone to call her family to ask for a wet wipe (she wanted to put herself in order before the doctor arrived), which she was denied in rude form. We understand that you cannot use the phone in intensive care, but for some reason male patients were allowed to talk on their cell phones at any time. Nurses call patients "grandmothers." "Grandma, turn around" - nurses turn to older women. Grandmother lay in a wet bed for 2 days! After this, diaper rash appeared, which we treated for almost a month. The bedside table stood aside - out of sight, my grandmother could not reach her and drink water. The staff generally behaves here very incorrectly and not permissible, especially for the intensive care unit, where severe patients are located. They laugh out loud, loudly discuss their personal problems (what to buy in the store, what they will eat for lunch, etc.). According to her grandmother, nurse Natalya Pigeon told her: “You will breathe strongly, I will not give oxygen!” As a child: "You will indulge, put in a corner." We have evidence of this egregious case - my grandmother wrote about it in a note ... One of the unfortunate days when they brought lunch (soup and cabbage), nurse Natalya Pigeon told the peddler: “Do not give her cabbage!”, Although my grandmother wanted cabbage. Once my grandmother broke a mug with a picture of a house. But this picture embodied the hope of returning home ... We believe that due to rough treatment, a wet cold bed, emotional overstrain and feelings of fear, our relative had 2 pulmonary edema, severe oxygen starvation, against the background of which shortness of breath and all symptoms of the disease intensified. And only then the doctors realized that the grandmother really needs constant oxygen therapy (pulmonary fibrosis, emphysema). All my remaining 20 days of life, my grandmother cried every day and complained about the inhuman treatment of herself by the resuscitation staff. She did not understand how people like nurses Natalya Pigeon and Olga Gurkova could even be allowed to work with people. These days in the intensive care unit created for her such a stressful situation, which further undermined her health.

Conditions, the attitude of the staff towards the sick - everything leaves much to be desired. I don’t know if this is the norm for Russia, when patients are right in the corridors, so I won’t comment on this moment. The only woman delivering food was very pleasant, and even the woman on duty. The rest are completely hamye, where they only scored such embittered individuals. Just don’t talk about professional deformation - I’m a veterinarian myself, of course, an animal will rarely behave as a doctor or attendants would like, but for some reason, humanitarian honey. sisters allow themselves to raise their voices and swear at patients who, by virtue of their illness (neurology department), can’t understand them simply because of their illness.
