Wonderful ethnographic museum. Interesting for both children and adults. Guides do not just talk about the life of people. And also beat. Arrange a theatrical show. Give the opportunity to feel part of this action. Were with children. They were planted on the river. They taught to put pots in the stove and remove them. Everything could be touched and tried to do. I also liked the workshops. They are there too much. You can also see and try everything. Feel yourself like a blacksmith, weaver, or pottery master. And this is only the smallest part of what we managed to capture. Will definitely come back here and more than once

A good guitar concert (the city guitar festival was held), but the building itself is very poor, sitting on old chairs. The city needs more care about culture.

This branch of the Museum is now working in archive mode. Plus they teach children to draw. The main exposition is in the new building, which is located in the Omsk Fortress (at Partizanskaya 5A, letter M). But the building is very interesting, a former teachers' seminary, an architectural monument of regional significance. Built in 1903.
