A wonderful museum! Very interesting exhibitions and wonderfully decorated rooms. Except, perhaps, the hall about the Romanovs. But I am not their fan, so I liked everything very much. Here, of course, it is interesting not only for children, but also for adults.

Shigirskaya pantry - an exhibition of antiquities found in the Urals. Tools, household items and tools that are 5-9 thousand years old! Yes, they are older than the Egyptian pyramids !!! The idol is, of course, magnificent. Be sure to take a guided tour. The specialist's story creates a complete picture. True, it can be difficult for children under 9-10 years old to withstand the time and richness of terms.

It will be interesting for everyone to visit this museum - the museum has several expositions related to different eras: ancient time, the Shigir idol, the development of Siberia, the indigenous population, the formation of Yekaterinburg, the Great Patriotic War, the murder of the royal family, a small exposition is dedicated to Ancient Egypt. If you want to study everything carefully, one visit is not enough - a very large amount of information. It is possible to book a guided tour or use an audio guide. Photography is allowed in the museum.
