The Church of the Nativity of John the Baptist in Uglich is an old Russian Orthodox church. This is a monument of ancient Russian architecture of the 17th century. It is located near the great Russian Volga River in the Yaroslavl Region. Next to it is the Resurrection Church.

The church is really beautiful, on the bank of the Volga. You can not enter it, because it does not work (at the time of August 2018). I would like to hope that soon it will be completely restored and shines its domes with the whole orthodox power!
