I really like this museum, I love it since childhood and I took my son there several times. Very informative and interesting expositions on the first and second floors, I recommend it to everyone. The building itself is very beautiful, in general there is something to admire !!!

The museum has been closed since January. Only the museum of local lore works on the 1st floor. There is no information anywhere - including the doors of the museum. Please correct this information. They said they would open it - when the restoration will take place, and when it is - no one knows.

Beauty ... the building stands practically on the banks of the Volga .. the view from the windows is wonderful .. I really liked the Main staircase, which dominates in this building .. four halls .. more precisely 5, taking into account the space around the stairs .. there are interesting works .. a little, but there is ... Personally, I really liked the Canvas by Jan van Scorel (1495-1562), he is the alleged author of the painting "John the Baptist" ... in the same building there is a museum of local lore .. there is a toilet for two museums .. You can have a snack on the waterfront in front of the building .. So Welcome!
