Дом музей В.И. Ленина

The museum is arranged in the house which was the property of Ulyanovs family in 1878-1887. Originality of the museum consists in the fact that its decor give an opportunity to comprehend culture of provincial intellectuals of the seconf half of the 19th century, imagine life of Russian official (by the example of real State Councilor I.N. Ulyanov) in official and family environment.

It was an ok museum. Nothing special.

Interesting to see where the man who had such an impact on the world grew up.

An iconic place. True, they were not allowed to take a picture if they did not pay. Not critical. The guide, a young girl, spoke very interestingly about each member of the Ulyanov family. Test! It's not interesting without a tour. You need at least an audio guide.

Guests came from the Moscow region, took them to the museum. We were lucky with the excursion led by Olga, a research fellow at the museum. Very informative, interestingly told about the life of the Ulyanov family
