Since 2017, the school has a chess club for students of this and other educational institutions. There are two groups in the circle: the “zero” level (familiarity with the rules of the game) and the “first” level (familiarity with the principles of chess theory). Every six months, the circle hosts tournaments, competitions to solve chess problems and chess competitions. For advanced young chess players participation in qualification tournaments is provided.
