The founder of the gymnasium is the Irkutsk Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. The board of trustees of the gymnasium, which addresses strategic planning, includes Boris Govorin, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Academician Rurik Salyaev, the wife of the former governor of the Irkutsk Region Yevgenia Frolova, the head of the Irkutsk Region Government Order Agency Sergey Dubrovin, the former Minister of Culture of the Irkutsk Region Vera Kutishcheva . Orthodox female gymnasium has all the necessary resources (personnel, program-methodical, material and technical) for the implementation of in-depth programs of subjects of the humanitarian cycle. Training in the gymnasium is free. Educational services are provided to all citizens, including low-income ones. The institution is financed from the funds of the diocese and the city budget. City funds go to the salary of the teaching staff. The diocese pays expenses for church disciplines such as choir singing, God's law, and Church Slavonic. In addition, the metropolis pays salaries to teachers who accompany girls in school life. Over the 15 years of the school’s existence, nine graduations took place, and 136 grammar-school girls received a start in life. In 2014, 310 girls were enrolled in the gymnasium; the teaching staff consists of 40 people. Achievement is one hundred percent, and such a criterion as “the quality of training” is 60%.
