A local in the city recommended this restaurant to us. It's right by the city's cathedrals. After a hot day, we sat outside where the temperature was perfect. The waiter was nice and friendly, which is far from a given in Russia. All the food was authentic and marvelous. I especially recommend the kvas, which was home-made and the best I've ever had. The tea we had (облепиховый чай) is also to be recommended. It happened that four of us were vegetarians, so we really enjoyed the vegetarian borsch.

Great authentic Russian restaurant! The manager can speak english quite good, very kind and humble. Good to bring children for exploring old Russian food.
