I got three books. I checked it classically, without fanaticism, since the level of trust in the store was at a high level. I looked at the cover and a couple of pages - everything is fine, except for one thing that I closed my eyes to, but I will mention it later, because it's not about her. Now about the main thing. Coming home and starting to read, in one of the books, on one of the pages, I discovered the presence of a false sticker-chip of the store (Photo 1). By the way, this is the first time I see such a thing with them ("Read-city"), I never even thought to examine it so deeply and thoroughly, the chip was so pressed down that there was not even a gap visible from the side. I just warn you, because thanks to one "wonderful" law, purchased books cannot be returned. Be careful, and also ask employees to notify about the quality of the goods, about shortcomings and the like, this is their responsibility. With all this, I took the book, despite one defect mentioned at the beginning of the review, namely the dented corner (Photo 2), I really wanted to read it, all the more important is not the cover, but the contents of the book. But the content was not allowed to be read to some extent either, having pasted several lines vertically on the page. I will say more, this book costs almost 200 rubles cheaper on the OZON website (the price is about 308 rubles), I ordered a book from the same series and took it today, was in film and in perfect condition. In general, I am upset and disappointed, talking about the purchase in the "Chitai-Gorod" store. It is worth noting the fact that there are practically no books in film in the store, even in the warehouse they are unpacked, although according to the rules they should be in it. And this is where contradictions begin - there are situations when the book contains a print defect. It is impossible to violate the integrity of the packaging, but after removing the film and discovering a defect, the store will say that the product is in violation of its integrity, in other words, "goodbye". Perhaps there is a subtlety in this regard, which I do not know about, but personally, my situation completely discouraged me from ever associating with this chain of stores. This is simply ugly and disrespectful to the customer. Everything could be solved by examining the book by the seller with the buyer, who would be responsible for the perfect sales contract. But of course this will never happen, because the quality of 70% of the books is terrible. In general, the store has deteriorated. Be careful.
