The best place in Rostov on Don (in my opinion). It is a pity that due to the pandemic, most of the territory is closed to the public, including the spring, but if you wish, you can visit the spring with a font, skirting the territory from one side (I, facing the main gate, turn right, drive a little (before turning left), I leave the car and continue on foot along a steep descent, broken by trucks (you can use the path), cross the bridge and turn left, then along the river until two large pipes, through any of which I again get to the other bank, and now along the path upstream to the font itself). If you are going to the source, if you want and if possible, bring food for ducks. A week ago I was lucky, there were more than 30 of them, they fed them 4 rolls (they would have eaten more if they had).

At the height of summer, the passage to the holy spring from the side of the Holy Iversky Monastery is closed. We got to him for a long time, bypassing the dusty country bumpy roads, on the way we met a flock of barking stray dogs. The most terrible thing was to cross the river along the pipe crossing it. When we finally reached the cherished place, we saw that the metal door leading from the source to the territory of the monastery, and from there to the nearest asphalt road, adapted for pedestrians to public transport, was welded tightly. For two and a half hours spent at the source, only 4 people came up to fetch water. Neither a child, nor an elderly person, with all the desire, can not master such a path "with a bridge" from a hanging pipe over Temernichka!

A very peaceful place. You feel very calm and protected. Father Dmitry communicates with everyone, answers everyone and gives advice. A very good person. The temple itself is in perfect order, both inside and outside. Be sure to go to church.
