A couple of years ago (to be exact, in 2017), this store refused to sell me a bag because my card was Canadian (it just so happened that I live there and I don't have Russian cards). Well we laughed and left. Then they called their service center in New York and told them about the situation. There they also laughed and said: "This is Russia, everything happens there." The only plus of this situation is that the service center gave us a 15% discount on the same bag in Canada, which we successfully bought upon our return.
