As a football fan I am totally happy that the stadium has been chosen by National team of Brazil as their training facility in Sochi. athe pics I posted here were taken not on the main arena but at the second field of play. All the infrastructure has been renovated twice for sochi 2014 Olympics and for 2018 world cup. The city enjoys the great legacy provided by the good fortune

Slava Kalistratovich Metreveli (1936-1998) - Soviet footballer, striker, coach. Was born in Sochi. European champion (1960) in the USSR national team and twice USSR champion (1960 and 1964) in the Torpedo (Moscow) and Dynamo (Tbilisi). Honored Master of Sports of the USSR (1960). Honored Trainer of the Georgian SSR (1976). In the final match of the European Cup (1960) with the Yugoslav national team, Metreveli scored a goal and equalized the score, which made it possible to turn the tide of the match in favor of the Soviet national team.
