Upon arrival, it turned out that the sender had not paid for the cargo and for this reason they did not give me the cargo. I wrote to the sender, talked and he paid for the cargo immediately. I sent screenshots of the payment. I showed the screenshots to the operators to which they replied that the cargo would not be handed over. the sender has a debt! Attention, the sender has a debt to DL for other goods. Formally, "Business Lines" took my cargo hostage in order to knock out money from the sender for other cargoes sent by him to other regions, as it turned out his debt was 1840 rubles. I had to apply my collector skills and call the sender to sort out the situation. The sender replied that perhaps there was a debt for the shipped cargo to Moscow, the cargo, as he said, was still or was on the way, or perhaps it was in the warehouse and the owner had not yet arrived for it. I did not expect such rudeness from Business Lines, the sender paid for the cargo and the DL still blocked the issue due to some unpaid debts by the sender, and here the sender's debts and my paid cargo I did not understand at all. In general, I had to resolve the issue with debts for "Business Lines", I called the sender again, explained the situation and he transferred 1840 rubles to my card, I paid the debt for him through the payment terminal. "Business Lines" have chosen an interesting tactic of knocking out debts by blocking the issuance of cargo, thus relieving themselves of some of their responsibilities. The next time you send a cargo, remember that you may have to play the role of a collector, and for a job well done you will receive your cargo as a bonus. I personally decided firmly for myself that I will never send or receive goods through this company again, since now there are enough of them and everyone is trying to work for the client. DLs regulate their actions to retain cargo by Article 359 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. --- According to paragraph 2 of Art. 359 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, the creditor has the right to retain the thing even if, after it came into the possession of the creditor, it was sold to a third party. In this case, the property held still remains in the possession of the creditor. But in my case, the sender paid off the debt to DL for sending my cargo, but the sender still had a debt for another shipment, so the DL decided to take my cargo hostage until the sender paid off the debt for another shipment that was in no way connected with me. Those. if, for example, there is a sender and he has 30 deliveries to different cities and he carries out the delivery at his own expense, he sent the cargo and paid for 10 deliveries, it turns out that until he pays all 30, then no one will receive the cargo and then someone else will have to pay storage? I highly do not recommend DL, well, either, if you order something somewhere, you better immediately check with the sender if he has any unpaid deliveries before the DL, otherwise your cargo will be taken hostage, and you will act as a collector.
