Brandt House. One of the best and unusual buildings of the XIX century Arkhangelsk. In 1826, there was a sugar factory of Wilhelm Brandt, an oligarch of those times, who had the fourth largest (!) Capital in Russia. At the end of the XIX century the building was rebuilt for technical school. Peter I. In Soviet times, there was a scientific research institute here, now the Department of Justice of the regional administration and the Oktyabrsky District Court are located. The building was reconstructed, decorates the embankment.
