In the Flour Rows at the Zerna eco-bakery, there is a small but very cozy Museum of Bread. In just two halls there are a huge number of exhibits telling about the process of bread production in the old days, there is also a Russian oven. My daughter and I were here on an excursion and a master class on making a gingerbread house. While working on the house, the hostess Nadezhda told us a lot of interesting things about bread and gave us tea. Time flew by and the fond memories of this place remained. Before leaving, we went to an eco-bakery store and bought delicious gifts home. For those who are relevant, there are gluten-free positions.

Very nice and comfortable place. I visited it in my free time just like a museum, with a guided tour and tasting. I learned interesting ethnographic facts, listened about the process of making bread, traditions associated with this, drank ivan tea. A good place if you need to kill an hour of time in the center in the heat. I liked the practical part of the excursion, they let them grind the grains themselves, they let them touch different ears of corn, it turns out this inclusion in the process.

I highly recommend visiting! Like most of all in Kostroma! Interesting, interactive story, you can touch and try everything! Tasting yum-yum tea with Ivan-tea, fortune-telling by the children, ground the zeon, sowed flour.

You guys won’t lose a second of your time if you go to the bread museum. The guide there is simply an unrealistically interesting woman who, in the territory of 2 rooms of the museum, unfolds a huge picture of agriculture, bakery and the history of Russian life. It was the best museum in Kostroma for my taste. Bravo
