Nikol'skaya Tserkov'

Nikolskaya church in the then village of Gavrilovo was built at the expense of parishioners in 1798. It was a small, stone, single-altar church, which had the shape of a ship. One hundred years later, the church changed its appearance and began to take the form of a cross, thanks to the two chapels in honor of the Dormition of the Mother of God and the Apostle from the 70 Arkhip and all the saints attached by the efforts of the parish community. In 1991, the church was transferred to the Russian Orthodox Church, and from that moment on, restoration work and the revival of parish life began in it. In 2000, at the Jubilee Council of Bishops in the assembly of the new martyrs and confessors of the 20th century, the martyr Maria Gavrilov-Yamskaya, the last elder of the Nikolsky Church, opposed its closure in 1937, was glorified. For several years now, festive divine services have been held in the new chapel in honor of the martyr Maria Gavrilov-Yamskaya.
