And what else to see in Borisoglebsk. In my opinion, an iconic landmark.

The most important attraction of Borisoglebsk. In 1698, the Pavlovsk fortress was erected in whose territory, in the place of the modern cathedral, in 1703 a wooden chapel in the name of Saints Boris and Gleb was built. Since then, the growing around the settlement became Borisoglebsk. A little later, in its place was built a wooden cathedral, which stood until 1784. In the same year, the construction of a new brick building of the temple began, the foundation of which has been preserved to this day. The temple, and indeed the whole city, suffered greatly from the Soviet hard times. In 1937, the church was closed and desecrated, the church plate was looted, the bell tower was blown up, and the building was turned into a building materials warehouse. In 1992, the ruins of the temple returned to believers. Relatively recently, restoration work was completed. Now this is a beautiful church with a landscaped area, perhaps the best place of this sad provincial town.

Inside was not, therefore, I appreciate the appearance. The church was beautifully restored, a very beautiful monument to saints Boris and Gleb was installed on the territory. The paths are paved with paving slabs, and probably the most well-kept lawn of public places in Borisoglebsk.

A beautiful and original place in the Voronezh region. The church itself is still undergoing restoration work, and outside the church and the square are beautifully decorated. Have established a beautiful monument to Boris and Gleb on Borkhimmash money. All the icons in the church are beautifully decorated with wooden hand-made frames by local craftsmen. The very location of the church is considered the foundation of the city of Borisoglebsk.

Wonderful temple. Beautiful, well maintained. The service was wonderful. There are a lot of people, and there is enough space for everybody, not even noticeable that the temple is full.
