The chapel was built and consecrated by Metropolitan of Voronezh and Liskinsky Sergius on October 17, 2010. The uniqueness of the chapel is that in its size (height, width and length) it corresponds to the temple of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem. The chapel of St. Nicholas was built in memory of all those who died in the Caucasus in hot spots. The chapel contains eyewitness accounts of the war in Chechnya, parts of the burned boards from the school in Beslan and a brick and a servant from the temple of the Archangel Michael in the city of Grozny. Every Thursday at 5:00 pm in the chapel, akathists hold the abbot of the church in the name of the Cathedral. Paraskeva Friday Fr. Mikhail Cheprasov.
