The YuVDZh building was built by the famous Voronezh architect N.V. Troitsky - a man whose whole life is worthy of admiration. Teacher, professor, ethnographer, publicist ... It was he who was the chief architect in the most difficult post-war period for Voronezh.

One of the most recognizable symbols of Voronezh is the building of the South-Eastern Railway. More than half a century pleases citizens and guests with its modern look.

It was my first stay in Voronezh. There are two checkpoints at the entrance to the station, but one or the other worked. The area is clean and well appointed. There is a working schedule for the directorate of the branch Mon-Fri from 8 to 17. Break 12-13. Weekends: Sat and Sun. Inside the station building there is free Wi-Fi and a monitor with information (convenient for tourists who want to see the city and learn about the sights, and also if you need to stay overnight, you can find everything there). There are waiting rooms and I liked the bookcrossing stand (for those who have time to read, see photo). There was also one working outlet for the entire waiting room, so everyone had to share it in turn in order to charge their communication devices. There are a couple of cafes / buffets with shelf-stable food or buns. The choice is weak. There is a luggage room with its own tariffs and conditions (pictured). Conveniently, there are such machines for issuing tickets for suburban trains. This needs to be learned and there are no difficulties in them, as well as queues. There is a small square with benches on the territory, and you can take a photo near the old train exhibit.

Security facility. It is better to come in advance, because bureaucracy with gaps. Old, creaky, small elevators. There is a cheap canteen, but I haven't been there myself and I can't say anything about the quality.
