Moroshka Inn

We stopped here on the way from Arkhangelsk to Petrozavodsk. A normal place for one or two nights, it would be uncomfortable to be here longer. The bedspread on the bed was with rather obvious stains, it is not clear whether it is being erased. The toilet cistern had to be repaired on its own after the button jammed during the next flush. The shower splashes in different directions instead of a steady stream.

A simple guest house on the edge of town. We lived at # 5. The window overlooks the field, it is quite clean: two beds, mirror, TV, shower and toilet. On the ground floor there is a kitchen where you can cook something for yourself or drink tea. The main drawback is the area, of course: even for Kargopol, there are completely dead roads around, the edge of the city, a cemetery and some transport offices nearby. The fact that everyone around you can hear through the cardboard walls, that WiFi is only on the 1st floor and that hot water goes to those who got up earlier - this is not a drawback at all for Kargopol, but rather a standard. Suitable for one night stay.

In principle, normal, somewhat expensive - 2,400 rubles, double room without breakfast. There is a shared kitchen on the ground floor and a billiard table. Parking at the entrance is free, but not guarded.
