A picturesque active quarry. Neighborhood of Nature and the mechanisms that bite into it. Walking through the quarry is prohibited. But you can climb the rock that surrounds this quarry. There is a path from the road, but you can also climb a short way over the stones - it's more interesting. On the way, you can touch and examine stones of crimson shades up close. Against the backdrop of green pines and ordinary gray quartzite, the crimson rocks look very beautiful. The cliff offers a beautiful view of the rocks, a quarry and Lake Onega. And yes - be careful - mining the rock involves blasting the rock - there is a warning sign. Heard the siren - run away from the quarry!

It's funny, but on a bumpy road to go there specially - I would not recommend it. The quarry can be entered through a strip of trees near the hotel.
