the remains of the bell tower of the St. Nicholas Church in Kepptur. This stone two-story church "in one bunch with the bell tower" was built in 1833-1835 gg. effort of the parishioners. In the lower warm church there was a throne in the name of St. Nicholas the Miracle-Worker, consecrated on December 5, 1836, and in the upper cold - in the name of All Saints, which was consecrated on October 20, 1846. Ruin looks very solid and unshakable. It is said that the St. Nicholas Church in Keptura was built on good demianovskoye lime, which the peasants mined along the banks of the rivers Staraya Totma and Votcha. Stone staircases, floors and church fences were made from limestone mined in the territory of the former Totem Uyezd. Local residents recall that near the church once stood a church house: on the first floor there was a lodge, and on the second floor there was a church and parish school.
