Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker on Ostrovsky churchyard (Nikolaev Ostrovskaya or Ostrovskaya Nikolskaya church). Inactive Orthodox. Built in 1743 (1749). Provincial baroque, architect unknown. Closed no later than the 1930s. Temple of the Nikolskaya Ostrovsky community, Nikolaev Ostrovsky parish. According to information from the Novgorod collection for 1865, there were 29 villages in the parish with the master's village. On the island where the church is located, there were 8 villages. The closest is Stepanovo (Stepanova, Stepanova), 50 fathoms (a little over a hundred meters) from the church, tentatively to the north-north-west, judging by the PGM of the Belozersky district of 1778-1797. Now the village does not exist. According to some reports, in the 16-17th centuries there was the Ozad Nikolaevsky Monastery (VV Zverinsky "Monasteries closed until the reign of Empress Catherine II"). Currently, the church is almost destroyed. Nearby is a cemetery, where burials are still being made. Current address: Vologda Oblast, Belozersky District, Antushevskoye rural settlement (formerly Gulinskoye), Ostrovsky Pogost natural boundary (1 km west of the village of Vatamanovo). Address for 1917: Novgorod province, Belozersky district, Nikonov volost, Ostrovsky Pogost.
