Frant Hotel

From outside the architecture is very nice, authentic style one, but inside of the hotel is not that impressive. In my room AC did not work 😏 They provide free breakfast yet the quality is quite low sadly. However nice option just to have something before going out if you have such habit like me. They also said that I can use the sauna for free with some time limitation but then they said there was a quota or something so I needed to have my name written before hand, so that I could have used it for free. Nevertheless, strange enough, they said if you like to pay, then you can also use it. So, overall, as I understand it was a lie to get some more money, nothing else. Considering the city and the choices, you can still go there, but beware the tricks they have for you.

The Frant Hotel on Marshal Zhukov Avenue is located very conveniently relative to the main attractions of the city. This is a big plus. But the service in the hotel is poor. If you want to get something, for example, take out the garbage from the room, a plate, toilet paper, you need to ask for everything and more than once. Rooms are cleaned only at the request of guests, arguing that it is prohibited to enter the room in the absence of the owner. But I don’t want to contact the staff once again. Soundproofing in the room is poor. We had a suite overlooking the outside veranda of the hotel restaurant, which is usually open 24/7. We were very lucky that due to the current situation, the restaurant closed at 23.00. It is not difficult to imagine that it is simply impossible to sleep there in the midst of the celebration. The room is very stuffy and hot, and the air conditioner hangs to the right of the bed. When the system is on, it instantly blows off the bed in any mode. Sleeping with an open window is uncomfortable due to traffic noise, as this is an avenue! The bed is very large and comfortable, and the sofa, on which the children are supposed to sleep, looks leathery and pretentious, but in fact does not really unfold, since it consists of modules of different sizes and shapes, and is extremely uncomfortable for relaxing, so how it falls under body weight. A child of 10 years old will spend the night, and a tall child will have to sleep with the letter Z. As for the all-inclusive breakfast: porridge, scrambled eggs, cheese and butter are quite edible, donuts are always burnt, and other "delicacies" such as rolls, pies, etc. etc., quality from the cheapest stall from the 90s. But the room has a sauna if anyone needs it. From my point of view, a number like this would do a good job of being a bridal number. A tired tourist needs different conditions.

Good place to work

At the reception there is a polite administrator, they rented a deluxe room, the floors behind the sofa are apparently not washed, the presence of a sauna in the room was pleasant, but it does not heat well, the windows face the road, so the noise of cars is heard. There is a restaurant downstairs and a wedding was being played there, until 22.30 it was noisy. There is an air conditioner. If for one night, then it is quite normal to spend the night, if for a long time, I would think.

There were two of us. We were not very satisfied. Initially, the room was dirty and littered with rubbish. To put things in order I had to ask twice. Details in the photo. A junior suite with a sauna for 3000 is clearly not worth the money. Moreover, the stove in the sauna is turned off and to turn it on you need to inform the administrator, a special person will come and turn it on for free for 2 hours. For each subsequent hour, you will have to pay 500 rubles.
