The main tourist attraction of the Zhirnovsky region is the Lutheran church in the village of Grechikhino. Even without the spire, the outlines of the church become visible from a distance of 6-7 kilometers. The main entrance offers a beautiful view of the Medveditsa floodplain. The building was designed by Riga architect Indrikis Devendrus. Another work of this architect has survived in Riga (Kalnciema street 18).
