I was impressed by the museum! Very interesting! Many exhibits, interesting information! Special thanks to the museum staff for their professionalism, for their deep knowledge and for their dedication to their work! Definitely recommended to visit!

Do not go, do not bother them to drink tea! In general, a scoop. An announcement hangs on the doorstep that the museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but when I arrived there at 11.40 a worker of the Soviet cultural institution said that they had lunch after 20 minutes, come in 1.5 hours. In general, a visit 3 days a week with a guided tour, and the rest of the time they drink tea. Take a walk along the promenade from the gateway to the monument to Lenin, it will take 10-15 minutes there is nothing more to do.

He worked on the ship, passed this channel several times. I don’t know about the museum, but the gateway and monuments remained in the photo and just like images in memory.

A very interesting and informative museum. All exhibits and every corner of the museum are furnished with a soul. Wonderful guides will tell about the history of the Volga-Don Shipping Canal and about those who created and maintain it. A place where you want to come again, and each time for new knowledge. Thanks to the director of the museum, Valentina Alekseevna Sorokoletova, and the guides, Natalia Egupova and Anastasia Lapikova. A fond memory and special thanks to the founder of the museum, Edelman Rimma Mikhailovna.
