A rare record player in which a computer speaker is awkwardly hidden and a small digital player is connected which they did not even try to hide. Sometimes the guide is completely indifferent muttering of the memorized text. And all this causes extremely mixed impressions. The room in which Sholokhov worked aroused the greatest interest. The writing desk at which he wrote at night, the couch. It certainly impressed! There are also quite a few personal belongings of the writer. Thanks to this, the life of Sholokhov and his family can be imagined in some detail.

Definitely a must see. A wonderful place that keeps the memory of the great writer. Although the museum is called the “Old House of Sholokhov,” here you can see not one, but two houses of the writer. The bleached adobe smoky with a reed roof, in which Sholokhov lived for two years, in 1926-1927. And the neighboring blue wooden house, which Sholokhov bought at 23 years old for his first fees. He lived there from 1928 to 1935. In the courtyard, in the outbuilding - the exposition "On hunting and fishing." Sholokhov loved hunting and fishing. The territory is small, for 40 minutes you can see everything. Excursions are interesting. You can take pictures. Prices in 2019: ticket for an adult 100 rubles, children and students - 50 rubles.
