Tserkov' Troitsy Zhivonachal'noy

In this place there are 4 local attractions at once: 1) Bell tower (or rather the ruins) of the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity. Built in 1786-1793 2) A memorial stone in honor of the Ataman Ermak from the Cossacks. Installed in February 2001. 3) Memorial - a common grave of Soviet soldiers and Commissar Bakhturov. 4) The ruins of the old house of the merchant I.G. Babushkina. End of the 19th century. Of course, the ruins of the bell tower are stunning in their scale; here, next to it, almost a few centimeters from the ground, you can see the remains of the church itself. It is upsetting that this object is not protected in any way, even with a symbolic fence, and it seems that it is not planned for restoration at all. Also here you will not find any information about what kind of ruins it is, the year of construction and a short history ... fortunately there is the Internet, but there is such a fact ☹️. Besides us, there was no one here, so I can judge that this place is not the most popular, it is quite far from the city of Volgograd. For lovers of such historical monuments, I definitely recommend 👌

Hello everybody. The place is unusually beautiful, quiet ... Very often I pass by, but was for the first time. All the time I do not get, in the light of time. Later, when there is good weather I will add photos and videos, because I liked the place and the view opens ... It's hard to describe, words are not enough. Nearby you are looking into the distance, the spirit captures! Some places it is better not to describe in words ... It is better to see once!

It has been in this place and more than once, the long-destroyed church has been destroyed to this day. Nature takes its toll. Near residential buildings and the memorial to those killed in WWII

The most beautiful place, the channel is fast, before all the time we went to rest here, with a tent. The place is historical. The view of the Don expanses is amazing.
