By some miracle and the efforts of volunteers, the preserved paintings of the beginning of the century (a peasant house). In addition to the lion itself, there is a cherub, George against the serpent, and presumably Saint Tryphon grazing geese. Were on 09.11.2019 on the opening day after a lengthy restoration. We learned that one of the paintings (the bull) was painted over in the 1970s. There is a small cultural center with a library nearby.

I don't even know what to say. The house itself and the murals are magnificent. Everything else is quiet horror. The village itself is terrible, not even a single beautiful house, dirt and watchman Uncle Petya, on a salary, poking out of the guarded house everything that is not nailed. And begging tourists for "development".

An amazing masterpiece of Russian primitivism. Now the house is being renovated. You can come and help. Nearby in the courtyard is a cultural center. This is a more modern home to sit in, with an open veranda overlooking the endless field. Two of the same houses in the village died: one from the fire, the other was dismantled for firewood. They also wanted to dismantle this one, but the enthusiasts bought the house, a cultural center is being created ☺️.

A unique monument of folk culture, a very interesting atmospheric place. Thanks to the magical people who care, volunteers, restorers!

The house is very interesting. The murals are a lot of drug addicts. The restorers are masters of their craft.
