Константин Викторович (02/08/2018)
The first church was built in 1700–1706. in the name of St. Catherine the Great Martyr. This church was burned by the "pagans of Cheremis." Instead, another Catherine Church was again built, which was also burned by the Gentiles. The third newly built wooden church (consecrated in 1786) was burned down by the “impostor the robber Aidanko”. The newly built Catherine’s wooden church (4th) burned down in April 1826. According to the decree of the Vyatka Spiritual Consistory of February 28, 1819 No. 2476, a stone church was laid. The church was built at the expense of parishioners. In 1825, the chapel of a warm stone church was consecrated in the name of St. Catherine the Great Martyr. Before the consecration of the cold church, the church was called Catherine, and with the consecration in 1844 of the cold church in the name of St. Great Martyr George, the church became known as St. George. There are three thrones in the church: in the cold church - the main one is St. George's, in the warm one: detached - right - Catherine, left - Nikolaev, in honor of St. Nicholas of Mozhaisk. In 1871, parish trusteeship was opened at the church. St. George's Church was closed in 1936. The building was used as a granary. Now completely abandoned.
