Grand Hotel Zvezda

The place definitely gets 5/5 - exceptionally clean, fresh, spacious. The loft (with balcony) is just splendid. The spa was a delight. Breakfast was well balanced and impeccable although we only had one, hence can't extrapolate. It's a bit expensive but well worth the value - had it not been for the funky night we've had. Central location is unfavorable for someone looking for a good night's sleep as the neighborhood is not just noisy, it's a bloody dancefloor. Some lunatic kept patrolling the surroundings in his car with boosted audio full on - from 8pm up until midnight. On Monday evening (!). I find it hard to believe it would've been any better in the courtyard-facing std rooms (we had the loft). The receptionist did offer std's as a quieter, though less luxurious option. The hotel doesn't have parking lots, but city parking is rather inexpensive and is free from 8pm till 8am.

Very spacious, nicely decorated boutique hotel! Good value for money! It was kind of noisy outside on a weekend night, but the hotel is located on the central pedestrian street. The breakfast is OK, but is already included in the price of the room. Can say nothing about personnel as only stayed for 1 night. Overall, probably one of the best hotels in the area.
